No Galaxy S III At MWC : SAMSUNG

Samsung
Samsung has confirmed the successor to the Galaxy S II smartphone will not be shown at this month's Mobile World Congress (MWC).Last week a rumor emerged that Samsung was delaying the announcement of its next flagship handset. It kept pretty quiet on the subject but has now released a statement confirming the news.

The firm said in a statement, "Samsung is looking forward to introducing and demonstrating exciting new mobile products at Mobile World Congress 2012.""The successor to the Galaxy S II smartphone will be unveiled at a separate Samsung-hosted event in the first half of the year, closer to commercial availability of the product."

We assume the successor will be called the Galaxy S III but there's nothing to say Samsung has to go with that name. The Apple rival recently announced the Galaxy S Advance smartphone. With no new flagship smartphone to show off at MWC, Samsung will have to focus on its next generation Galaxy Tab and rival to the Ipad 2. The tablet might have an 11.6in high resolution screen and Samsung's Exynos 5250 2GHz dual-core processor.
